Design Find: Oh, Honey Packaging

Urban beekeepers' stylish packaging

Wide, hexagonal jars get a landscape label.

I discovered this beautifully designed honey at our local farmers’ market yesterday. My husband said, “Don’t we have a ton of honey at home?” and I answered, “But have you seen this packaging?!” Simply beautiful, and designed by the company cofounder, Darius Plavinskas, who also leads DariusDesignBuild, an architectural design & contracting firm.

Not only is their honey raw and untreated, it’s local – really local, as their beehives sit on rooftops in Jersey City Heights, Crown Heights (Brooklyn), Union City, as well as in the countryside in Columbia County, NY. Check them out.
