Our job was to create a new logo for Potoo that better represented their position as leaders of brand protection on Amazon and other online marketplaces.
The new Potoo bird appears strong - standing with a watchful, omniscient eye. The focus on the single eye with wings outstretched creates a bold statement and confident mark. The golden hue represents the natural yellow Potoo eye color and a sense of protective warning from danger ahead, similar to how the company protects brands online.
A guardian of the online market
The new mark and brand system created a more sophisticated, credible and impactful visual expression of the Potoo bird and moved away from their previous cartoon-like character. The bird appears to "guard" the internet and position Potoo as trusted, powerful experts and partners in brand protection online.
