WorldTowning is slow-traveling way of life for the curious and adventuresome by taking up temporary residence in foreign places to experience day-to-day life as a local. A philosophy based on the desire to expand one’s view of the world, enhance one’s knowledge of a region and establish lasting community ties. WorldTowners are adventurers who live out the WorldTowning philosophy.
We created the WorldTowning logo as an icon, symbolizing a mountain range and directional “compass” points to emphasize the idea of relocation. The colors represent a natural habitat with earth tones and a pop of unexpected orange for vibrancy and non-comformity.
We created additional branding for the website application of WorldTowning. With the addition of a script typeface, we aimed to make WorldTowning.com feel authentic and unique. The site was designed responsively, and optimized for all screen sizes.
